Research assistant

Judith Maria Poersch studied Geography and French (Master’s degree in Education) at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. After completing a semester at the Université de Bourgogne Franche-Comté in Dijon in 2014/2015, she worked as a graduate assistant in the ERASMUS Information Medicine department at Mainz University Medical Center from 2015 to 2019. She was also a student member of the executive committee of the Gutenberg Research College at JGU from 2016 to 2019.

She wrote her master’s thesis on the influence of an ERASMUS stay of Mainz medical students on their further life and professional biographies (title: ERASMUS macht mobil – Eine Untersuchung zu Internationalisierung und Mobilität am Beispiel von Outgoing-Student*innen der Mainz University Medical Center; supervisor Prof. Dr. V. Cummings). She has been a doctoral student and research assistant in the Human Geography work group since April 2020.
